About Northwood Lawn Tennis Club
Northwood LTC was founded in 1901 and is located in a quiet area on Pines Close, a short distance from Northwood High Street. We are a friendly club, who welcome all ages and abilities to come and play. Members can enjoy playing both social and competitive tennis with opportunities available for whatever you are looking for. With four social sessions running throughout the week, this gives members a chance to enjoy some tennis, meet new people and socialise with other members. If you are looking to bring out your competitive edge then Northwood run Mens, Ladies and Mixed teams in the Hertfordshire leagues as well as internal competitions. With options for all, we are here to ensure everyone enjoys their time on the court.
At Northwood we have 4 astroturf courts, all with floodlights. The club house includes changing facilities, a kitchen and bar which is where social events are held. Parking is available. For more info please visit below.
COACH BACKGROUND
Head Coach - Charlie Wiseman
Charlie is the current Head Coach at Northwood LTC and runs Tenniswise UK. He is a LTA Level 3 qualified coach and has over 9 years of coaching experience, with over 7 years working full time at Northwood. Charlie is very passionate about the game and thrives on the opportunity to improve and develop players, of all ages and abilities, as they reach their goals. He looks to share his love for tennis in all group and private lessons which are run by Tenniswise UK. Private lessons are available with Charlie at an hourly rate of £28 for all junior and adult members and £31 for all non-members. He also offers 30 and 45 minute lessons for juniors and beginners.
